▎精油简介

肉荳蔻(Myristica fragrans)生长在热带,是一种常绿植物,常见于南洋、澳大利亚和加勒比地区,树高达20公尺,果实充满肉体感,除了果肉可食用外,种子晒干后是重要的香料,要刨磨成粉使用,精油也是从果实提炼。

肉荳蔻果实是常用的香料,肉荳蔻含有肉荳蔻醚,会产生兴奋和幻觉。它是一种有毒物质,食用会使人产生幻觉,扭曲的时间和空间,超越实际的幸福的感觉。据报导,非洲土著非常爱把肉荳蔻果实,用于身体生病或精神痛苦,帮助很快进入美妙的梦,忘记自己的痛苦。不过如果过量,会让人容易产生昏迷现象。肉荳蔻也广泛应用于化妆品工业,如制造香皂、洗发精和香水等。
