▎精油简介
厚朴,别名重皮、赤朴、烈朴、川朴,落叶乔木,可长到25公尺高。它有着芳香的树皮,大的叶子和芬芳的乳白色花朵。厚朴原产地在中国,生长在山区,现在则种植在世界各处作为观赏树木,它的树皮可以在春天采集,4~6月剥取,根皮和枝皮直接阴干,干皮置沸水中微煮后,放置于阴湿处,发汗至内表面变紫褐色或棕褐色时,蒸软,取出卷成筒状使其干燥。
厚朴的树皮含有生物碱、香豆素、黄酮类和木酚素,存在于木兰科植物树皮中的木酚素,一种叫做和厚朴酚,具有抗肿瘤和抗焦虑的活性,另一种叫做厚朴酚,有抗菌和抗焦虑的活性。另有北美种,像是洋玉兰(M.grandiflora)就是亲缘物种,跟厚朴的使用方式类似。
▎成分解析
厚朴成分非常多元,主要成分为倍半萜醇及倍半倍烯、ß-丁香油氢氧化物,用于脾经配方,可理气燥湿、缓解胀气,厚朴的挥发性化合物能激发味觉,进而引发唾液、胃液的分泌,增进胃肠蠕动消化。另含厚朴酚(magnolol)以及和厚朴酚(honokiol)与少量的生物碱等各种成分。低浓度的厚朴酚在动物实验上有增进皮质固醇的功效,所以具有类似气管平滑肌松弛的作用。
