▎精油简介

优选产自台湾高山,桧木主要分布在海拔1500公尺至2500公尺之间的山地,桧木于冰河时期时落脚于台湾,由于台湾提供相当优异的生长纬度与地理环境,造就了质地优越桧木生态与质量,也让如此珍贵的木材得以保存。

第一批被发现的红桧标本被运往东京,于 1901 年正式命名为台湾红桧。台湾红桧与日本花柏(Chamaecyparis pisifera)为近缘种,在早起都拥有大量的原始林,后因砍伐而产量大减,因此非常珍贵。

台湾桧木为台湾特别的种类,树干皮平滑而薄,木材无辣味,常用于高级建筑及家具建材。

▎成分解析

|主要成分:倍半萜醇

台湾桧木的桧木醇(Hinokitiol)含量特别高,其自然散发的桧木醇香味能够舒缓紧张的情绪与压力。目前,世界珍贵的台湾桧木已经越来越少了,而树体所分泌的桧木醇能保护自己不受虫蛀与病害的侵袭,故能存活千年以上,而成为人称的神木。

枝干萃取的桧木精油以倍半萜醇类为主,针叶萃取的则以单萜烯类为主。另外还有其他成分,如:桃金娘醇(myrtenol)、桃金娘醛(myrtenyl)、γ-杜松烯(g-cadiene)、松油萜、樟烯、对伞花烃、萜烯醇、樟脑等。
