▎精油简介
玫瑰草是一种可以长到将近10英尺高的草,生长在潮湿的热带或湿地。需要充足的阳光才能生长。玫瑰草精油一开始萃取自印度,有着细长的叶片,有如杂草般外观却因为能萃取近似玫瑰与天竺葵香气,故有「印度天竺葵」的绰号,或「土耳其天竺葵」。在印度由于开花时节整座山都是紫色,因此以rhsaha或rosha具有紫色的意思称呼。现在的玫瑰草精油则萃取自尼泊尔东部平原。收割后,将玫瑰草风干再蒸馏至清亮浅黄色。
玫瑰草主要成分跟玫瑰主要成分一样为牦牛儿醇(香叶醇),因此带有接近玫瑰的花香。对于肌肤各方面保养皆有良好作用,很适合保养肌肤,有很好的保湿以及平衡油性肌肤的作用。

主要为牦牛儿醇(抗霉菌),其他有沉香醇、橙花醇、乙酸牦牛儿酯、甲酸牦牛儿酯、异丁酸牦牛儿酯、己酸与辛酸牦牛儿酯、榄香脂醇,以及微量倍半萜烯、醛。
