▎精油简介

粉红莲花(Nelumbo nucifera)又叫做印度莲花、神圣莲花,或印度之豆。莲科莲属,多年生草本出水植物,原产于古印度,后来从越南到阿富汗都有,一般分布在中亚,西亚、北美,印度、中国、日本等亚热带及温带地区,有超过800个栽培品种。莲花可以用种子或根茎繁殖,特别的是,其种子莲子可以存活上千年。有科学家培育了一些有千年历史的莲子,繁殖出来的荷花依然生机盎然 。在中国的大连市普兰店区曾出土过千年前的古莲子。在中国郑州大河村仰韶文化遗址中发现的两枚古莲子,有超过3000年历史,但是过于珍贵,未进行栽培试验。

莲花喜好高热高湿的环境,在温带分布的品种于冬天时的泥土上常绿部位会枯萎,藕茎会膨大。而热带的品种多为常绿部位不枯萎,藕茎膨大不明显。莲花象征耐心与和平。它生长在淤泥中,会在水面上开出硕大华美的花朵,伸展平宽的叶片,花朵可能是粉红色、白色或蓝色,花朵飘散出独特的清香,在佛教文化中,也像征着永生与超然。财富女神拉克希米被称为「吉祥天女」,集财富、华丽、丰饶、繁衍、生命力等特质于一身,她手持粉红色莲花,因此粉红莲花也像征会带来好运。

莲花原精需要陈放,才能凝炼出香气,粉红莲花原精是一种深粉红色的黏稠液体,香气馥郁清香和清甜,给人一种安详典雅的感觉。
