原料介绍｜胡萝卜籽 (Carrot seed)

▎精油简介

胡萝卜有许多种类，是一或两年生草本植物，直立多支，茎干可长到1.5米，精油是萃取自野生的胡萝卜种子，茎叶可做成干燥香草，增添茶饮或利口酒的香气。一般食用胡萝卜品种与萃取精油的品种，茎叶很类似，但野生胡萝卜的组织比较粗，且根部不可食用，整棵植物可以蒸馏出精油，主产地来自欧洲，有些则来自埃及和印度。

胡萝卜很早之前就被当食物使用，在希腊的药典中也记载很多关于胡萝卜被用于利肝和利胃的效果；法国也将胡萝卜籽当医疗处方，用于健胃、肝脏解毒、伤口愈合等效用，近代临床也将胡萝卜籽应用在癌症病人身上，对于视力保养更是不可或缺的元素；而精油较常用于身体皮肤的保养。

▎成分解析

｜主要成分：倍半萜醇

主要成分为胡萝卜次醇，具有帮助细胞修护的作用，另有α-蒎烯，β-石竹烯，以及微量柠檬烯、沉香醇、萜品烯-4-醇等其他成分。
