▎精油简介
红花缅栀因其花瓣乳白似蛋白,而中心基部具有鲜明的黄色又如蛋黄,故称「鸡蛋花」,泰国人称呼为Lilavadee,意思是形容优雅的姿态,同时代表独有的内在;此外,红花缅栀在2、3 月间全数叶片落尽时,光秃秃的粗肥绿色树枝极像鹿角,因此别称「鹿角树」。缅栀最早被发现命名的原生种为红色花品系,学名为P.rubra.。
其叶喜欢热闹,爱跟兄弟姊妹挤在一起,都长在枝条的顶端,站在树下,可以看到清楚的枝条,枝条下端没有叶的部分,明显地留下落叶后的叶柄痕迹,就是「叶痕」。看它的叶子,叶脉非常明显,排得整整齐齐,好像拿尺画的一样。花有香味,增加它成为庭园树的魅力。全身汁液具毒性,白色乳汁有毒,误食可能造成呕吐、腹泻、发烧、恶心、嘴唇红肿、心跳加速。

|主要成分:水杨酸卞酯
红花缅栀的药学属性有较多的临床报告及研究,它的成份复杂,其中的特殊酯类「水杨酸卞酯」和「苯甲酸芐酯」,约占了50%,另外还有萜品醇、肉桂醛、乙酸沉香脂,香豆素等微量成分,能帮助放松。可提炼其香精供制造高级香水、化妆品及香皂。
