▎精油简介

阿米香树（又称西印度檀香），是蕓香科一种白色带灰色树皮，含油脂量高的芳香小乔木，植物约可长高2~4公尺，夏季开花繁多白花瓣，主要生长在热带区域南美洲与中美洲的加勒比海地区，在当地渔民和农夫会以木头做为蜡烛、火炬使用，由于木头的油含量高达60%，能容易燃烧很久，因此也可以用于生产火炭使用；因为坚固耐用，所以阿米香树的木材也是竹篱架的好材料。

对一般使用者而言，东印度檀香价格昂贵，此时，主要萃取自阿米香树，气味与东印度檀香精油相似，有着香沈而温暖的木质气息的阿米香树精油（又称西印度香树精油），就是其中一项替代的选择，二次大战前，大量的阿米香树木材，从委内瑞拉、海地和牙买加被运到德国以供蒸馏，蒸出的精油颇似纯正的印度檀香，市场上也常发生檀香精油被阿米香树混掺的情形。

阿米香树精油的主要用途是做香水的定香剂，也是化妆品成分之一，树质量好坏主要取决于树龄和含水量，如果木材被切得太细小，所能萃取的精油量也会减少，可以帮助放松和减轻压力，并具有舒缓和安抚的效果。 

▎成分解析

｜主要成分：倍半螺旋醇

主要成分为巴西草醇、榄香醇，另有少量杜松烯、石竹烯等微量成分。

｜研究认证

▸ 使用化学计量学模型确定用于呼吸道感染的精油的化学成分-抗菌活性关系，其中三种精油，Amyris balsamifera (阿米香树)，Coriandrum sativum（香菜）和 Santalum austrocaledonicum（檀香）被确定为与其他调查的精油相比具有更高的活性。

▸ 研究显示，阿米香树精油具良好的抗葡萄球菌活性。
