▎精油简介

贞洁树原生于地中海地区和西亚，目前在世界各地的亚热带地区有栽种，在春季或秋季播种生长，在秋季采收果实，高约3.5-4公尺，具有芳香性、茂盛的落叶灌木的外观性状，叶如纸质，叶缘羽状，浓郁的淡紫色至红紫色的圆锥聚繖花序，倒卵形核果。

学名agnus 和castus指的是纯洁或贞洁之意，别名圣洁莓，又名僧侣胡椒，虽名为僧侣胡椒，但却无半点胡椒味。精油与纯露都散着药草，以及些微类似樟脑的微凉苦味与辛辣味。做为传统草药至少已有2000年历史，自古即用在妇科治疗。是马鞭草科的一员，与普通马鞭草以及柠檬马鞭草是远亲。在希腊，丈夫在外征战的妇女也会吃贞洁树果实或睡在铺满贞洁树叶的床上以示守节。

成分为β-石竹烯、β-金合欢烯、α-蒎烯、桧烯、桉油烯醇、1.8-桉油醇会因产地不同而成分比例有所差异。
