▎精油简介

红花缅栀因其花瓣乳白似蛋白，而中心基部具有鲜明的黄色又如蛋黄，故称「鸡蛋花」，泰国人称呼为Lilavadee，意思是形容优雅的姿态，同时代表独有的内在；此外，红花缅栀在2、3 月间全数叶片落尽时，光秃秃的粗肥绿色树枝极像鹿角，因此别称「鹿角树」。缅栀最早被发现命名的原生种为红色花品系，学名为P.rubra.。

其叶喜欢热闹，爱跟兄弟姊妹挤在一起，都长在枝条的顶端，站在树下，可以看到清楚的枝条，枝条下端没有叶的部分，明显地留下落叶后的叶柄痕迹，就是「叶痕」。看它的叶子，叶脉非常明显，排得整整齐齐，好像拿尺画的一样。花有香味，增加它成为庭园树的魅力。全身汁液具毒性，白色乳汁有毒，误食可能造成呕吐、腹泻、发烧、恶心、嘴唇红肿、心跳加速。

｜主要成分：水杨酸卞酯

红花缅栀的药学属性有较多的临床报告及研究，它的成份复杂，其中的特殊酯类「水杨酸卞酯」和「苯甲酸芐酯」，约占了50%，另外还有萜品醇、肉桂醛、乙酸沉香脂，香豆素等微量成分，能帮助放松。可提炼其香精供制造高级香水、化妆品及香皂。
